'BEFORE THE MOUNTAINS WERE BROUGHT FORTH, OR EVER THOU HADST FORMED THE EARTH AND THE WORLD, FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING THOU ART GOD.' [KJV PSALM 90:2]

Welcome back my friends, after the 'remembrance' of the most outstanding 'act of love' God did for whosoever calls upon Him in repentance unto salvation - The Remembrance of the Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Please review the 'series' The Last Week in the Life of Jesus Christ, Special Devotions, Week Post A-1, Sunday, April 5, 2020 - Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Now, in our post on March 15, 2020, [also used for March 29, 2020], we started to study Second Peter 3:18 which told us to “grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.” Let's continue our series, as I promised. Let's continue for a few posts, dissecting what is further meant by this matter. Before we are finished, I want to post a few posts with some passages of Holy Bible Scriptures for your prayerful meditation and memorization on 'the milk and meat' of the word that I believe will be most helpful.
Now, continuing from April 19, 2020; April 26, 2020. May 3,10,17, 2020.
My friends, how so very important it is to remember this wonderful truth in the 'perilous times' in which we live, to have His peace. [2 Timothy 3:1-5; Hebrews 5:14]audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
Remember that there are many who do not want 'the knowledge of the Lord' nor do they 'fear the Lord'. [Job 15:4; Proverbs 9:10; Ezekiel 30:13; Jonah 1:10]. We will discuss that point on our next post, as the Lord wills. But, for today, let's get an understanding of what 'the fear of the Lord' is, indeed. Amen. Amen.
Remember, 'the fear of the Lord' is an awareness of these truths from His Word, the Holy Bible. It can be defined as a continual awareness that you are in the presence of a holy, just, and almighty God, who is all-knowing; all-present', and therefore every motive, thought, word, and action is open before Him and will be judged by Him. FOR REAL. [Proverbs 1:7; 8:13] We, like our 'first parents' learned, cannot 'hide' from God. [Genesis 3:8-9] audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
Having a high regard for the Bible, the Word of God, is an essential part of growing in the fear of the Lord, to reverence Him. When we take time to read Scripture and commit to applying its universal, non-optional truths in our lives, then, we learn more about the nature of God, His ways, and our role as His creatures. It is as it should be - HUMBLING. It should also make us be in 'awe' that He should care so deeply for us, [if we are honest with ourselves, even though one is 'saved', as the case may be].
As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 8 audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
1'O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!' Amen. Amen.
'Where are You, Adams, Eves'???? Are you working out your salvation?
On our next post, as the Lord wills, let us discuss 'who' does not want the 'knowledge of the Lord'. Then, we will expound on 'working out our salvation' on another post, as well.
Thank you for returning to study with Jesus and me, through the Holy Spirit, Our Mutual Teacher.
[John 14:26; 1 John 2:27]audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html Amen. Amen.
