Thank you my friends for returning for this post-script with Chapter 22 of Genesis.
Post Script Note - Genesis Chapter 22

Part 3 audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
Abraham is called the 'father of faith' (Romans 4:11–12) because of his response to God both in leaving his homeland and receiving a son in his old age. Genesis 15:4–5 again describes God’s promise to Abraham that his offspring would be as “the sands of the sea.” Even though Abraham was old and had no sons, he never doubted that God would do as He promised. He did not understand how such a thing could be possible, but he humbly accepted God’s word as truth. audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
Then, many years later, Mary had the same response 'in and of - faith', when the angel Gabriel told her she would be the mother of the Messiah (Luke 1:26–38). She did not understand how such a thing could be possible since she was a virgin. But she never doubted that God would do as He said.
Jesus Christ, is the Son of God, the 'promised', 'seed of the woman', the 'perfect sacrifice' for the salvation of whosoever believes on Him, to be 'reconciled back to God' from the 'fall'.
[Genesis 3:15; John 3:15-16, 18; 6:35, 36, 40; 11:25-26; Acts 10:43; Romans 4:4-6; 10:10; 1 John 5:5].
There is no other way to be 'a child of God'. [John 1:12; Galatians 3:26] audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
Why is this an important 'post-script' for Genesis Chapter 22, especially for us in the 21st Century?
This is important, among other reasons, because the responses of both, Abraham as well as Mary, is the kind of faith that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6]. audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
[See a comparison when 'this faith' is not shown by Zechariah, the priest, found in Luke 1:5-22.]
We immediately take God at His word, and we trustingly and lovingly 'wait for', and 'expect' Him to bring His 'promise' to pass, in His time, in His way. Period.
Genesis 15:6 lays out the truth that salvation is by faith, apart from works: “Abram believed the Lord, and he credited to him as righteousness.” Romans 4:3–5 and Galatians 3:5–7 elaborate on this truth. Just as Abraham was counted as righteous before he did anything worthy of praise, so we are counted as righteous by simply believing that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is sufficient payment for our sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). WOW!!
However, 'that faith' produces actions that validate it. James 2:14–18 helps us understand the kind of faith Abraham had. It was a faith that acted. Faith and obedience cannot be separated. He moved because God said to move. He trusted because God said to trust. He prepared to welcome a son because God promised him a son. By acting on his faith, Abraham proved that he trusted God, and that trust was credited to his account. His faith in the promises of God saw him through years of waiting. He never doubted God’s goodness or His word and, for that, God considered him righteous. We, must trust and obey, in the same way, even before we actually 'see' the fulfillment of any promise in the 'natural'. Period. audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
I sincerely pray to Jesus that this information helps you, to begin and to continue to trust the Lord, as it continues to encourage and help me. My friends, I am 'waiting' for God to perform His word of promise to me in several areas dear to my heart, both, for this age, and most importantly, in the age to come.
[audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html See further on Elijah and the rain, 1 Kings 17-18; as well as what Jesus said, Matthew 6:9-10]
Be therefore, encouraged! There is power in believing in Jesus. Jesus said that we must believe in Him, and that means first and foremost, trusting Him with our souls. Have YOU done the very first and most important thing, trusted Jesus with your soul?????????? If not, why not - RIGHT NOW???
God will do what He has said He will do, at His appointed time, for His Glory, for our good.
AFTER WE HAVE ACCEPTED HIM, TRUSTED IN HIM FOR OUR SALVATION; then we are to be about our 'daily assignments', 'keeping our minds stayed on Him, in perfect peace'. [Isaiah 26:3; Ephesians 2:8-10] audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html
