During this week, pausing and truly reflecting, another insightful devotional entry from Charles Haddon Spurgeon's Morning and Evening Devotions. [Picture of Niagara Falls, USA side] I hope you will be blessed as it has blessed me.  GOD chooses to 'reveal' meaning of 'events' in your life, in wonderful and mysterious ways', even events that may have happened years ago. That is why it is so important to have a 'personal' relationship with the Lord. He speaks on matters, when He chooses.  Our 'times are in His Hand.'  This morning the Good Lord revealed some matters to me, relevant to some events that occurred over 18 years ago.  I was not even thinking about them, but, He wanted to give me a deeper understanding - true love and how we can be used of Him to give 'true love', even to those who do not deserve it - just like He does, to us.

“Jesus said unto them, If ye seek me, let these go their way.”
John 18:8Mark, my soul, the care which Jesus manifested even in his hour of trial, towards the sheep of his hand! The ruling passion is strong in death. He resigns himself to the enemy, but he interposes a word of power to set his disciples free. As to himself, like a sheep before her shearers he is dumb and opened not his mouth, but for his disciples’ sake he speaks with almighty energy. Herein is love, constant, self-forgetting, faithful love. But is there not far more here than is to be found upon the surface? Have we not the very soul and spirit of the atonement in these words? The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep, and pleads that they must therefore go free. The Surety is bound, and justice demands that those for whom he stands a substitute should go their way. In the midst of Egypt’s bondage, that voice rings as a word of power, “Let these go their way.” Out of slavery of sin and Satan the redeemed must come. In every cell of the dungeons of Despair, the sound is echoed, “Let these go their way,” and forth come Despondency and Much-afraid. Satan hears the well-known voice, and lifts his foot from the neck of the fallen; and Death hears it, and the grave opens her gates to let the dead arise. Their way is one of progress, holiness, triumph, glory, and none shall dare to stay them in it. No lion shall be on their way, neither shall any ravenous beast go up thereon. “The hind of the morning” has drawn the cruel hunters upon himself, and now the most timid roes and hinds of the field may graze at perfect peace among the lilies of his loves. The thunder-cloud has burst over the Cross of Calvary, and the pilgrims of Zion shall never be smitten by the bolts of vengeance. Come, my heart, rejoice in the immunity which thy Redeemer has secured thee, and bless his name all the day, and every day.

AFTER THE RECENT CELEBRATIONS OF PASSOVER AND THE RESURRECTION SUNDAY, 2018.

Hopefully, you spent some 'invaluable time' in His Presence over the past few weeks, studying the Gospel of John.  Can you come away with other than the sense of His Love, and oh, to return the love He has placed in you, to Him.  He is - the very 'essence' of LOVE. } JOHN 3:16; Galatians 5; 1 John  3:16, 4:8]

As a matter of fact, what is the 'great commandment'?  As it is written:  'But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they came together.  And one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, to test Him. "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" And He {Jesus} said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.  And a second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.  On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.' [Matthew 22:34-40]

Unless and until, you come to truly understand - LOVE - AGAPE LOVE - NOW 'IMPLANTED' IN YOU, YOU WILL NEVER APPRECIATE 'GOD'S LOVE TO YOU', NOR BE ABLE TO 'LOVE HIM', OR 'ANYONE ELSE', OR - 'YOURSELF.  THEREFORE:
Please, let the LORD speak to you on the topic of 'love'.  Please study 1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 13.  AND, since you have learned previously that 'God is Love', read the chapter through for the first time.  BUT, come back and read it again, substitution 'GOD' each time you read the word - 'love', 'it' or 'its'.  Let your very heart explode!!  Do YOU see the very character of - God??  NOTICE CAREFULLY - 'TRUE LOVE' IN 'ACTION'. 

Then, now may be a good time for you to please study the 10 Commandments. [Exodus 20:2-17; Deuteronomy 5:1-30]  Why??  For you see, LOVE WILL DO NO HARM.  With the Holy Spirit working within you, as you are submitting to Him, surrendering your own will, being 'selfless' - you will be living out 'love' or 'the very nature' of God,  from the heart, enabled by the Holy Spirit, not in your own 'power', but in His.  This is why the Ancient Jews could not 'perform' the very 10 Commandments.  They did not have the Holy Spirit, for Jesus had not come.  But now, you and I are 'working out our own salvation with fear and trembling'; for God is at work in you and me, both to will and to work for His good pleasure'. [Galatians 5:22-23; Philippians 2:12,13]  Is anything impossible with God?? [Genesis 18:4; Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27; Luke 1:37; Romans 9:9]   Let us not 'see God to small'.  HE IS AFTER ALL - OMNIPOTENT [all powerful]; OMNISCIENT [all knowing]; and OMNIPRESENT [all present].  WOW!  Oh, how sweet it is - to have a personal relationship with HIM!!  

Like these twins, you are never alone, now.  You have a 'friend' and so much more,  who sticks closer than a sister or brother.  You will soon 'resemble' Him in more ways that you can ever imagine!! Rejoice, and again, I say, rejoice. [Matthew 28:20;John 14:18; Philippians 4:4] Blessings in the name of Jesus. Celebrate His Resurrection, for He is Risen!! Amen. Amen. 

HELLO THERE, 'LITTLE BABY IN JESUS THE CHRIST'!!!  OR 'WHAT MEANEST THIS - SANCTIFICATION'??

When we first come to faith in Jesus, we are just as this little child in the picture.  And, like the child's father, so is God the Father 'cherishing' us.  It does not matter what physical age you 'enter into His arms'; when you first believed - you are His precious little child. NEVER FORGET THIS. BUT...

FIRST AND FOREMOST:  IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO BEGIN TO STUDY HIS WORD.  FOR YOU SEE, YOU MUST BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SALVATION IS ALL ABOUT.  ADDITIONALLY, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE BIBLE WILL BE YOUR SOURCE FOR EVERYTHING GOING FORWARD, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL 'GUIDE'.  THEREFORE, REVIEW THE FOLLOWING PASSAGES OF SCRIPTURE.  REALLY READ, STUDY, MEDITATE ON THEM, FOR YOURSELF. LEARN TO CHECK THE SCRIPTURES - FOR YOURSELF. 'MEDITATE' IS LIKE A 'COW CHEWING THE CUD', READING AND HOLDING A VERSE, A CHAPTER IN MIND, OVER AND OVER.  www.audio-bible.com/bible/bible.htlm

It does not matter, who you are - do you realize that God personally - loves you - and that He wants you to live with Him in peace; and then you can live in peace with yourself and others?  Do you realize that you may have a personal relationship with the Living God, through Jesus Christ, and, YOU SINCERELY WANT TO HAVE A GENUINE AND REAL, A TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LIVING GOD, MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE?  Do you now realize that you have a free will choice to either accept God's offer of salvation - or - to reject His offer of salvation - and you are choosing to receive and accept His offer of salvation?  Do you confess that up to this time, you are a sinner and have sinned, and that you cannot save yourself?  Do you turn your life over to God, [repenting], and desire Him to forgive you of all your sins, including the sin of unbelief?  Are you ready to trust God, and to obey Him, as your read and study His Word, pray and ask and receive directions from Him - FOR THE REST OF YOUR MORTAL LIFE?  Do you believe that God's gift of salvation to you is possible ONLY BECAUSE Jesus Christ died on the cross over two thousand years ago, and rose from the grave, and ascended back into heaven, paying the price {death} instead of you, and shed His Precious blood,  to redeem you back to God?  PAUSE AND CONSCIOUSLY REFLECT UPON THESE QUESTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING.

If you are 'really' and 'sincerely', looking for the 'real deal' in life, to come to 'know God and Jesus', THEN:

a.  You now realize that you are a sinner, without quibbling. (Romans 8:23)  It is written.

b.  Further, you desire 'eternal life', and recognize that it is a 'free gift' to you, from God, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.  THE WAY TO GOD, IN AS HE SAYS.  IT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.  (Romans 6:23)

c.  You cannot pay the price for your redemption.  But, because of love, Jesus paid the price at Calvary when He hung and died on the Cross.  That death penalty was for YOUR sins, so that YOU could be pardoned by God the Father, and so that God the Father would receive you, JUST AS IF YOU NEVER SINNED. (Romans 5:8) 

d.  What must YOU DO??  AGREE WITH GOD. CONFESS JESUS AS LORD AND BELIEVE GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD AND ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR LORD AND MASTER, YOUR SAVIOR!! (Romans 10:9-10)

e.  ASK GOD TO FORGIVE YOU, TO SAVE YOU, AND TO MAKE YOU WHAT HE HAS ALWAYS WANTED YOU TO BE - HIS 'PRECIOUS CHILD'.  THANK HIM FOR SAVING YOU. (Romans 10:13)
IN CONCLUSION:
To place your faith, your trust, your confidence, your belief, in Jesus Christ, and to receive His gift of eternal life you MUST:
---Recognize that you are a sinner AND that you need a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
---Confess, agree with God about your sins, especially the 'sin of unbelief'.  Talk to Him.  He already knows.
---Then, repent - turn from your sins to God, totally disgusted with them.  For real!
---Ask Jesus to save you, deliver you, and cleanse you, give you His Holy Spirit to help you, by His Grace.
---CRITICALLLY - RECOGNIZE - YOU NO LONGER OWN YOUR LIFE.  HE IS MASTER AND LORD.  IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR RULER - YOUR LORD - THEN, I AM SORRY.  HE IS NOT YOUR SAVIOR, EITHER.  THEY CANNOT BE SEPARATED.

Abba, Father, for your good purpose, for you take no pleasure in anyone perishing; and for the sake of Jesus Christ, please save those who enter and repent, turning to you, through faith in Jesus Christ.  Please fill them with your Holy Spirit, pardoning them of all their sins, changing their hearts and from this point forward, giving them the hunger, the thirst to know You and Jesus Christ - learning by Reading Your Word, for you to direct them further.  Thank you for hearing my prayer, in accordance with You will.  Amen. Amen.
