Why the Holy Bible is So-o-o-o Very Important, Less Anyone Be Deceived - Bi-Monthly On-Going Devotions and Sunday Meditations, Post 'D-1' Series, June 14, 2020

My friends,
 
​Let us have 'devotions' in our 'heart of hearts'.  I do not know about you, but in 'solitude and silence', I have been hearing from the Lord, even more clearly than ever.  As He has spoken, and taught me, and continues to teach me, as I am studying with Him,  I have come to know what further He will have me to teach and post here.

I pray that you are all taking this time of being away from all the 'stuff in the world', to truly draw closer to the Lord, hearing His Voice much more distinctly.  If so, then that would be but one of the 'blessings' to be found in the 'natural consequences' of - COVID-19.

FIRST, let me encourage you by letting you know that God is in total control, as He is Sovereign.  What each and every individual must always be doing is asking, prayerfully of God: 'Father, what means this COVID-19?  What would you have me to know from it, and how would you have me to respond in it with respect to matters, all for your Glory?'  Matthew 7:7, provides: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.' [audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html ​]  ​

Now, continuing from April 19, 26, 2020; May 3, 10, 2020 when we studied some 'valid' Scriptures giving each of us the 'two roads' [Matthew 7:13-14] we may be on, beginning today, June 14, 2020 and continuing with this new 'D' series, we can further 'learn about God' and 'His and our enemy', Satan. I believe this is even more timely, as we consider 'nations rising against nations', world-wide. [Matthew 24-24; Mark 13; Luke 21.]

THIS 'NOTE' IS CRITICALLY - URGENT AND IMPORTANT, THAT NONE OF US ARE 'DECIEVED'. 
Why is - 'mob rule' seizing our countries?  It is -satanic!  It is demonic! [2 Corinthians 4:4] 

If you’re a leader, be careful to lead in the correct way.  Lead people towards God and not away from Him. You don’t want to be known as an evil leader.  As people play their role in electing leaders, vote for people who will lead us towards the paths of God and not away from them.  Not all of our political leaders will be Christ followers.  But, we can still vote for people who are morally upright.  This will help us to avoid going contrary to God’s wishes. 'A house divided against itself cannot stand. If a group's members are in perpetual disagreement, the group will eventually cease to exist.'
The timely and appropriate phrase is derived from a verse in the Bible (Mark 3:25) and was popularized in an 1858 speech by Abraham Lincoln. If the members of a group fight each other, the group will disintegrate.  Do we not see this - today, world-wide???? audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html​

Now, in this Scripture, 2 Corinthians 4:4,  the phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes, emotions, and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce, all affecting all the areas of 'human existence'. audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html

Make no 'mistake'. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.  What greater lie exists than, 'evolution' in opposition to 'creation'.

About - Satan, also known as Beelzebub, Lucifer, Father of Lies, Abbadon, the Accuser, The adversary, Apollyon, Belial, the dragon, the enemy, god of this world, the serpent, prince of the power of the air, the tempter and the wicked one. the devil.

Satan is called the prince of the power of the air, the ruler of this world, the god of this world, and then we are told that the world lies in his power. It is very clear who is being allowed to have control. [Job 1-2]

But Satan does not have absolute power. It is only for a while, for 'It is finished'! [John 19:30; Revelation 19-22]

When the Bible says Satan has power over the world, we must remember that God has given him domain over unbelievers only. Believers are no longer under the rule of Satan (Colossians 1:13). Unbelievers, on the other hand, are caught "in the snare of the devil" (2 Timothy 2:26), lie in the "power of the evil one" (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2). [audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html ​

So, when the Bible says that Satan is the "god of this world," it is not saying that he has ultimate authority. It is conveying the idea that Satan rules over the unbelieving world in a specific way. In 2 Corinthians 4:4, the unbeliever follows Satan’s agenda: "The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ." Satan’s scheme includes promoting false philosophies in the world—philosophies that blind the unbeliever to the truth of the Gospel. Satan’s philosophies are the fortresses in which people are imprisoned, and they must be set free by Christ.

An example of one such false philosophy is the belief that man can earn God’s favor by a certain act or acts. In almost every false religion, meriting God’s favor or earning eternal life is a predominant theme. Earning salvation by works, however, is contrary to biblical revelation. Man cannot work to earn God’s favor; eternal life is a free gift (see Ephesians 2:8-9). And that free gift is available through Jesus Christ and Him alone (John 3:16; 14:6). [audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html ​

You may ask why mankind does not simply receive the free gift of salvation (John 1:12). The answer is that Satan—the god of this world—has tempted mankind to follow his 'pride' instead. Satan sets the agenda, the unbelieving world follows, and mankind continues to be deceived. It is no wonder that Scripture calls Satan a liar (John 8:44).[audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html ​

Therefore, right now, if you are not 'in Jesus' and a 'child of God', then, I can safely say to you - God is trying to get your attention, that you may 'surrender and submit' to Him, by turning from 'unbelief' to 'belief' in coming to Him, by true faith in Jesus Christ, while today is still, today. audio-bible.com/bible/bible.html

Recall, 'Faith', 'true, biblical faith', is small or non-existing, unless it is based upon the 'word explained by the Holy Spirit, that does not contradict God'. [John 16:13] 'Romans 10:17-21 from the King James Version (KJV), provides: '17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.'   BE NOT DECEIVED!
