GOD WANTS THE CHILD TO BECOME 'A CHILD OF THE LIVING AND CREATOR GOD', BEFORE AND AFTER 'SALVATION OCCURS. THEN, THROUGH THE 'CIRCUMSTANCES', all which are planned in advance by the loving and good hand of the Living Sovereign and Creator GOD, AND, THROUGH THE 'NURTURE' FROM HIS HOLY WORD, [THE HOLY BIBLE], AS THE CHILD GROWS UP, THE CHILD IS ABLE TO HEAR FROM THE LORD, AT HIS APPOINTED TIME.  THEN, BECAUSE OF GOD'S LOVE AND MERCY, THE CHILD, AT WHATEVER AGE, HEARS GOD CALL AND COMES WITH THE 'GIFTS' FROM GOD OF FAITH AND THROUGH REPENTANCE TO SALVATION BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. HAVING A 'RENEWED' OR 'RE-CREATED' SPIRIT, THEN THAT 'CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD', [NO MATTER THE AGE WHEN THIS HAPPENS'], BEGINS HIS OR HER -  'REAL LIFE', 'ETERNAL LIFE', IN 'THE FAMILY OF GOD'. THIS WAS NEVER, EVER POSSIBLE - BEFORE JESUS CHRIST WENT TO THE CROSS AND ROSE ON THE THIRD DAY!! NEVER!! 

THE 'CHILD' IS JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST'S WORK AT CALVARY, PARDONED OF ALL SINS, COMMITTED OR OMITTED THINGS, PAST AND PRESENT.  AND, WITH GOD'S GRACE EVER WORKING, ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE UPON REPENTANCE AND TURNING FROM SIN, AS THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS 'CONVICTION', WE CONTINUE TO BE 'CLEANED OF SIN'. THIS 'ESSENTIAL' PROCESS KNOWN AS 'SANCTIFICATION', CONTINUES BY THE GRACE OF GOD, THROUGHOUT ALL THIS LIFE. WHEN THE PERSON TAKES HIS OR HER LAST BREATH, GLORIFICATION OCCURS WHERE SIN IS NO LONGER PRESENT IN THE LIFE OF THE PERSON FOR ALL FUTURE ETERNITY.  A 'MIRACLE' BECAUSE ONLY THE CREATOR GOD CAN BRING IT TO PASS!!  HE THEREFORE IS TO BE GLORIFIED AND PRAISED!​

WELCOME TO 'MY BEGINNINGS'!!  EVEN FROM MY MOTHER'S CANCEROUS WOMB'!!
We will begin on this date - the story of a most wonderful life of a 'modern-day' 'follower and believer', a 'follower' and 'disciple' of the LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.  A life unique as are all of the lives of the 'children of God'!!  A life in which one was 'trained' in the Word of God.  And, a life in which the child did not turn from 'the faith'.  [Joshua 24:15; Proverbs 22:6] Do not 'laugh' to much!!  IT HAS ALL BEEN BY HIS CONTINUING GRACE!!

In this 'room', posts shall generally post once a week, as you are taking  time to keep 'searching the Holy Scriptures', through the other 'rooms' of 'my house in Jesus'!  Enjoy and be 'blessed', in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.  

MY 'SEASON  OF LIFE'  -  'SPRING' - CONCEPTION UNTIL AROUND THE AGE OF 25 YEARS OF AGE!!  

My mother knew that she was carrying a 'child' in her womb in May, 1949 when she began to hemorrage and the bleeding could not be stopped by the 'mid-wife'.  However, during that time in the State of North Carolina, there was in the 'law of eugenics' the 'requirement' that should a 'pregnant colored woman' present to any medical authorities bleeding from the pregnant womb, that no blood transfusions were to be administered to save the pregnancy.  Instead, and only if there was a ready supply of 'colored blood' available, an abortion was to be performed.  There were no conditions regarding what 'stage' or 'term of pregnancy' to be used to determine how close to survival for an infant 'in the womb' to be considered.  And, there were no 'modern' 'crisis units' for a child born early.  The only 'lawful procedure' was based on the availability of 'colored blood availability' for the surgical process.  Otherwise, it was the understood 'process' to turn the woman away from any medical assistance. 

Thus, it was the 'law', that both, the woman and the baby could die.  After all, at that time it was 'believed' that 'there were enough "niggras" to be taken care of who were physically fit, but uneducated, and could only do 'farm labor'.  And, there was only so much need for 'farm labor'. 

But, by the 'hand of the LORD' on that day in May, 1949 when my mother showed up at the Anne Penn Memorial Hospital in Reidsville, North Carolina, the usual 'white doctor' was not there.  Neither was the 'old colored doctor'.  Instead there was a doctor from Greensboro filling in because of 'some emergency' to which the other two doctors were attending.  AND, although my mother did not know it, that doctor was - JEWISH.  His wife was there as his 'nurse'. [Those of us in 'the faith' call this - the Providential Care of the Living God.]

When he examined my mother, he informed her that she was going to bleed to death, if he did not perform an abortion.  He explained further, that she was showing signs of 'cancer of the uterus' and he would have to perform a total 'hysterectomy', taking her 'womb', ovaries, fallopian tubes, 'the works'!  And, yes, remarkably,  there was 'colored blood available' and in 'her type' as well as in the 'right expected supply' and some over!

Without delay, the doctor and his wife-nurse began to make the necessary arrangements for the available operating room - that is UNTIL, my mother, full of the Holy Spirit,  said 'What do you plan to do, rip open my belly and smash my baby like the Assyrians did the Jewish women of old??'  [2 Kings 17; Matthew 10:16-20; Mark 13:9-11]

As the doctor related the matter to me when I was a little girl of about 9 years of age, [for he had become our family doctor], he said he felt 'the earth moved' when my 'full of faith and Spirit' mother' spoke.  He and his wife-nurse looked at each other and without speaking a word began to realize - that what they 'heard', although from my mother's mouth, were not the words of a woman, BUT GOD. And, they both 'trembled'. [See Acts Chapter 9]

The doctor then asked my mother what she wanted them to do for her. Under the 'influence of the Holy Spirit', she spoke very clearly, very wisely, and 'in faith', saying, 'The devil is a liar, and has always been one.  But God has told me that I will have this child, and that my baby is a girl and He has plans to use her for His purpose and plan, for the saving of many.  Therefore, God who does not lie, will either take my life and save hers, take her life, as he wills, take both our lives, or take neither of our lives.  But, you, O doctor had better use whatever skills you have and with the help of the Lord, He will make whatever decision that is His Good Pleasure.' 

The doctor told me, that from that moment on, He knew that he was just an agent in the hand of Adonai, and he and his wife-nurse moved with all haste to 'stabilize my mother' and arranged for her to eventually enter the Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital for more medical procedures until ----August 26, 1949 - Guess who arrived, healthy and practically jumping out of the womb??!!  I was told that they did not have to 'spank' me, I literally 'came out yelling'!!  Not crying - making sounds like I was 'yelling'!  [I have always believed I was 'praising Him', even then!!]

After my mother took the time to 'nurse' me for 9 months, buried my dad 6 months after my birth, [remaining a widow for the rest of her life], she finally consented to the hysterectomy and removal of all 'cancerous' tissues; never to have cancer again.  She went home to be with the Lord, two months before her 88th birthday, in February 2005.  She lived a full and ripe life. One of her rewards for 'tenacious faith and obedience' - 'long life in the Lord'! 

But, before she passed, and all her life, with every child who came into her life, she passed on the Word of God, 'training up a child in the way he/she should go, so that the child would not depart from it when they were older'. Proverbs paraphrased] Truly, an awesome woman of faith.  How blessed I have been.  All Glory to God.  All Praise to Jesus Christ. Blessed in Glory to my mother!! Amen. Amen.  ​
